Ana Mota Teles

A thinker since birth and a people passionate forever.

Never believed in dogmas, never conformed to irrational thinking, always questioned things only after getting to know them. In fact, I went to the molecular level studying living and non-living beings, to the neuroscience of learning, language, development, behaviour and plasticity. To the normal and abnormal behaviour and individuality. To human rights and international law that we, as human beings, all have to live by. To the economical shifts and political ideologies serving the population. To 6 different languages and cultures, body language and lying detection, in order to better understand human interactions. To strategic thinking and national defence, in order to better predict how, where and when to invest. To 4 of the 5 continents, for work and knowledge sharing.

An Effective Member and Specialist in Clinical Psychology and Health of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association, APA International Member, with a PhD course in Neurosciences at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. I'm also an external expert of the European Commission, member of The Counter Extremism Hub, and a participating member of the Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN). Currently working with governmental and non-governmental institutions in Mozambique, in Psychosocial Support, and P/CVE. With published articles, and papers presented in several events.
