Training intake A good intake provides insight to the training objectives for the training audience. A secondary aim of the intake is determining the current level of cultural competence of the training audience. To develop a good intake for Tank Battalion 414 or in general units to tailor the training to the needs and expectations is the most important step for a successful implementation of a training. By using previous experiences as for instance the integration of 11th AMB in the German Rapid Reaction Division developing an intake could be achieved more easy and effective. The task is how to develop a questionnaire, that provides both insight in the needs and expectations as well as the level of cultural competence of the training audience? This questionnaire can also be used as a basis for the pre-training part of the quality management system. By determining the levels of competence at the start and creating insight in the training objectives a baseline can be established.
